According to Ami—an overseas research company, the total expenditure of global SMB (small & middle business) on hosted management software will reach USD2.4 billion, increased by 17% than last year. Here SMB refers to the company with employees less than 1000.

The market opportunity for hosted CRM, ERP and SCM is huge and growing rapidly. In England, French, US and Germany, the demand will increase by 23% in 2007. While in Japan and Singapore, it will increase by 17%. The software is mainly CRM & HR.

“Hosted CRM, ERP and SCM are scrambling for the market share against traditional management software. More and more SMB will choose hosted software to manage their core business” said Richardson, the senior analyst of AMI,”Hosted management software has occupy 4% of the total IT expenditure and will surely boom in 2007.”

In the hosted software, CRM takes the lead position. The global expenditure on it has grown from USD182 million to USD235 million, increased by 22%. This indicates that the hosted software is going high and high over the world.
